About Me

I have worked with families in an educational setting and has many years of experience facilitating a number of different groups.

I took the equine assisted wellness training in 2018. Horses bring a whole new level of healing to the therapy process. I have seen the healing power of horses in action. It is my passion and mission to share the healing of horses with as many people as possible.

I lost my Mom in January, 2021, during a time when being in the hospital was limited to very few people. I was able to be in the room with her as she passed away. It left me feeling lost and helpless because I did not know what I could have done to help her through the death process. It was because of this that I became an End of Life Doula. I want to be able to help other people go through their death journey the way they want to go, with dignity and respect. I want to help their family members be a part of that journey in a positive way. It has not been easy the past two years so dying with dignity and having your wishes honoured is so important.

I believe in learning something new every day. I also believe that people need to lift each other up and practice doing that every chance I get.
